Description

Virginia creeper is a common vine. It grows especially well in floodplain forests on rich, silty soil and at the edges of upland forests on loamy soil. It is often seen scrambling over rock piles or fences, but can also appear as a ground-layer plant instead of vine. A versatile plant. Beautiful fall foliage.
