Description


Cow parsnip prefers rich moist soil especially near springs or seepages. Herbaceous growth is astounding, producing a thick stalk at least 6 feet tall by mid-summer. It has large coarse leaves, and a broad flower head. Short-lived, but readily re-seeds.
